Human Security Workshop Series Resumes This Fall

The Castleberry Peace Institute's Human Security Workshop Series featured the following presentations during the 2017-2018 academic year.:

Kyle Allen presented, "Human Security or Geopolitics? The Responsibility to Protect and Russian Military Intervention in Post-Soviet States" on Thursday, September 21 from 1:00 - 2:00 in 130 Wooten Hall.

Andrew Hoyt presented "Seeds of Disempowerment? Bt Cotton and Accumulation by Dispossession In India: A study of Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh" on Thursday, October 26th from 3:00 - 4:30 in 267 Wooten Hall.

Mustafa Kirisci and Prof. Andrew Enterline presented "Dangerous Partners: Ethnic Kinship Ties, Arms Exports and the Outbreak of Civil War" Tuesday, November 14th from 2:00 - 3:30 in 267 Wooten Hall.

Mustafa Kirisci presented, "Gendarmerie, Rule of Law and Civilian Victimization in Civil Wars" on Friday, February 26.
