Upcoming Human Security Talks

The Castleberry Peace Institute will be hosting several talks on human security as part of our ongoing Human Security Research Workshops. The first features Geoff Dancy, who received his MA from UNT's political science department, his PhD from Minnesota, and who now teaches at Tulane University. He will speak Thursday, September 29th at 2 pm in room 267 Wooten Hall. His talk is, ""Do Amnesties for War Criminals Actually Promote Peace Following Conflict?".

Professor Jacqueline McAllister (from Kenyon College) will be speaking Wednesday, October 5th at 2 pm in Wooten 130. Her talk is titled, ""On Knife's Edge: Explaining International Criminal Tribunals' Wartime Impact".

Dr. Graham, Cox of the UNT History Department "will present, Under Some Circumstances," or: "How We Learned to Stop Worrying about Protecting Jim Crow and Pursue Justice for the Holocaust" on November 8th at 2 pm in Wooten 267.
